About me

I am a writer, editor, journalist, author, copywriter, content strategist, poet — in short, I’m a professional storyteller (an award-winning one at that).

The first stories I wrote were with a crayon in a wide-ruled Lisa Frank notebook. Years later, I graduated to using a pen in college-ruled journals, then graduated college with two Bachelor's Degrees: Creative Writing and Anthropology.

After graduating from Cal State Long Beach, I interned at a local food and beverage magazine, then started a job at an SEO agency.

Since then, I have been the senior editor at one of Southern California’s most popular magazines, the managing editor at a foundation for families facing childhood cancer, and the content strategist at a leading enterprise AI company.

As a copywriter, my work has made it onto some pretty cool brand sites, including Macy’s, Old Navy, Zales, VistaPrint, and, most recently, Meta. My writing has also been featured on Forbes, AdWeek, Grit Daily, SEMrush, IABM, AIThority, The AI Journal, and more. I also helped make a cookbook, which is probably something I’ll never stop talking about.

Outside of my professional work, I specialize creatively in short fiction and poetry. My writing explores themes of duality and has been featured in over 50 international publications, including The Plentitudes, Hypertext Review, Allegory Ridge, and Fatal Flaw. I’m the Editor-in-Chief of Mythos literary magazine and the author of Kindred, a novella.
